Welcome to EDA! – Welcome to our Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro dance family! We are so happy you chose EDA for your child’s dance education and cannot wait to begin our Fall season! We firmly believe that providing each dancer with a safe, friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere allows our students to be transformed into artists!! We offer a variety of opportunities whether your dancer wants to train professionally or participate in our recreational program. We provide the best technical training while giving your dancer the freedom to explore who they are through movement. We look forward to a great 8th season and look forward to building our dance family!

 

Welcome Kit – You should have received a copy of our Welcome Kit when you completed the registration process. If you have not received this packet, please see Miss Carla or the receptionist to obtain a copy. Please be sure to read through it carefully as it does contain EDA’s policies and procedures. Please sign the last page confirming that you received it, read through it, and agree to the policies and procedures and return the signed copy to us by Saturday, September 26th.

 

Paperless Studio – We are a paperless studio and send all our notifications via email. Please be sure that your email is correct on your account. If this is your first season with us, please check your spam folder as sometimes our emails are sent there if they are not recognized by your server. Thank you!

 

EDA Online & Social Media – Please be sure to follow all of EDA’s Social Media to ensure you stay connected with what we have going on at the studio. Everything will be emailed, posted in the studio and on our website, Facebook and Instagram.

Tuition – Your child’s tuition is always due the 1st of the month. We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Zelle and Venmo. A $15.00 late fee will be assessed to any account whose tuition is not paid by the 8th of the month. A $25.00 fee will be assessed for any returned checks. If you would like to set up automatic payments, please fill out the authorization form which grants EDA permission to charge your card every 1st of the month and any other due date for other charges. For the month of September, you have a grace period throughout the first week of class. All payments should be received by Wednesday, September 16th. If not, this is when a late fee will be assessed. Should you have any questions regarding your child’s tuition, please do not hesitate to contact the studio.

 

Dance Attire – All students should be in proper dance attire and shoes when they attend class. No baggy or street clothing will be allowed. No jewelry is permitted for safety reasons. When purchasing dance shoes, please do not purchase them with room for growth as that can stunt your child’s ability to complete certain technique in class. Hair must be pulled up and away from the dancers’ face. Ballet students must have their hair in a bun. EDA is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles. There are cubbies provided in the waiting area for your dancers to store their belongings while in class.

 

EDA Retail – Check out all our retail in the reception area of Studio 1! Show off your EDA pride with sweatpants, zip-up sweat jackets, hoodies, leotards, bra tops, joggers, leggings, shorts, t-shirts, tank tops, pop sockets, water bottles & much more! All items can be personalized or made with a glitter imprint for an extra charge. Sizes Child Small through Adult XXL are available! Place your order today!

 

Bring A Friend Week – EDA will be hosting Bring a Friend Week from Monday, October 12th – Saturday, October 17th. Each dancer who is registered with EDA can bring one friend per class to participate with them during these dates! The “friend” should not be a registered dancer with EDA and should be someone who does not attend classes weekly. A flyer with more information will be sent out via email and social media on Monday, September 14th.

 

Birthday Parties – Celebrate your next birthday at Elite Dance Academy of Marlboro! Let our professionally trained staff make your birthday party one that your friends will never forget! Ask for a birthday packet with more information or visit our website! We are now offering outdoor birthday parties (weather permitting)!

 

School Closings – The studio will be closed on Monday, September 21st in observance of Yom Kippur! The studio will reopen on Tuesday, September 22nd.
